Three-dimensional Music

Interactivity Killed the Video Stars

Why does it matter
  1. Unlike Flash, HTML5 needs no plug -ins or downloads. Most of all, it is finally unleashing the full  interactive and animation potential  of the Internet.

Unsurprisingly, it looks like the future of branding- especially online branding- is a lot about enabling and never about selling. Google Chrome is definitely acting along this line. Much like a patron of the Arts, Google has sponsored the latest joint effort of Director Chris Milk and Creative Technologist Aaron Koblin. The two wonder boys, who had already proven their wizardry when working on Arcade Fire’s “The Wilderness Downtown”, have embarked on an interactive video project for Danger Mouse + Daniele  Luppi’s experimental album “Rome”. All the contents featured in the song video “3 Dreams of Black” are user-generated, thanks to the HTML 5 three-dimensional tools provided by Google Chrome.
